Abu Dhabi Media Company Takes du Media Anywhere, Anytime

By being the first in the region to run a live broadcast embracing next generation cloud based unified IP infrastructure to deliver content – anywhere, anytime on any device, ADM is showcasing its vision and leadership in this space.

du has created an ecosystem of cloud hardware and software partners specialized in media industry to become the first operator in MENA to host an end-to-end media cloud services offering. This cloud-based solution improves performance while simplifying media management for all media stakeholders.

ADM Live HD channel broadcasted the solution end-to-end, and replicated the HD Live channel through the cloud to deliver business continuity, essentially running the entire broadcast operations in the cloud from ingest through to editing, MAM (media asset management), playout and live transcoding for broadcast and OTT (over the top) service.

du’s Media Cloud based solution improves performance while simplifying media management for TV stations and other media producers and broadcasters. The solution enables the media industry to digitally transform to deliver omni-media services in the cloud with increased flexibility, ease of use and accessibility. du is working closely with key hardware and software ISVs to create a complete ecosystem with ready-to-go packages for the media industry.

One of the partner companies, Imagine Communications, is no stranger to building virtualized, cloud-based solutions for broadcasters. Already a provider of end-to-end broadcast solutions to ADM including playout, media asset management, traffic, scheduling and graphics.
