GITEX 2017: Du To Launch Ecommerce Platform

du is gearing up to deliver its first in-house ecommerce platform on du.ae. The platform is developed on SAP Hybris Commerce, and is based on an existing partnership with Atos. The du Online Shop will provide a new end-to-end customer experience with the option to buy du plans and products from du website or du mobile application.

“The implementation of this service for our customers reinforces the digital transformation of du, as we are now bringing online capabilities to our sales channel. At du, we are committed to offering seamless and innovative experience to all of our customers, and we will continue to offer the same streamlined services to our consumers buying a device online through our website. In particular, the platform will offer our customers greater flexibility and convenience when buying a du product or plan,” said Farid Faraidooni, Chief Operations officer, du.

du’s new ecommerce platform will provide its shoppers with a unified and seamless shopping journey on all touch points and will offer real-time customer-telecom interaction. du will offer its customers a personalized experience based on their personal profile, and regularly launch new offers to online customers throughout 2018.
